Privacy Policy
English · Español — Effective August 25, 2026
Unwork is a digital-workers platform: you train agents that operate a browser and run your business tasks for you. This policy explains what data we touch to make that happen — and what we don't.
What we store
- Your account: email address and platform settings.
- Your tasks and runs: the playbooks you train, their executions, and the screenshots that document them.
- Site sessions: if a worker needs to stay signed in to one of your sites, that session is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and used only to run your tasks.
- Usage: what each operation cost, for your billing.
Connections to external services (Google)
If you connect your Google account, Unwork accesses the following Google services solely to run the tasks you request:
- Google Drive, Docs and Sheets: finding and reading the files your agents need, and appending rows to spreadsheets when a task you configured says so.
- Gmail: reading messages when a task you configured listens to your inbox (for example, an email auto-responder); creating drafts for you to review; and sending replies only through tasks that you explicitly approved under Unwork's approval ladder. We never send mail on our own initiative.
- Google Calendar: listing upcoming events and creating events when a task you ordered requires it.
In every case:
- You grant each permission yourself, once, through Google OAuth — and you can grant a subset (for example Drive only).
- The access token is stored encrypted and never shared with third parties.
- We do not read, copy or analyze your Drive, Gmail or Calendar outside the tasks you order, and we do not use this data for advertising or to train generalized AI models.
- You can disconnect anytime in Settings → Connections, or revoke access from your Google account. Disconnecting deletes the token.
Unwork's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we never do
- We don't sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
- We don't use your files or sessions to train AI models.
- We don't touch your connected accounts outside the tasks you order.
Providers that keep us running
The platform runs on Fly.io (compute), Neon (database), Tigris (file storage), Anthropic (the AI that assists the agents) and Stripe (payments). Each receives only the minimum needed to do its job.
Deleting your data
Deleting a worker erases its tasks, runs, screenshots and stored sessions. To close the whole account and erase everything, write to us and it gets done.
